VOLUNTEERING IN REFUGEE CAMPS
Volunteering in Palestine - BadilBADIL Resource Center is a Palestinian community-based organization located in Bethlehem that aims to provide a resource pool of alternative, critical and progressive information and analysis on the question of Palestinian refugees in the quest to achieve a just and lasting solution for exiled Palestinians based on their right of return.
BADIL works in partnership on a regular basis with grassroots activists, local and international experts, as well as regional and international partners. BADIL also facilitates on a regular basis volunteer positions at the BADIL office and with Palestinian refugee organizations in the 1967 occupied Palestinian territories.
In general, volunteer positions at the BADIL office involve research and library development. Volunteer positions with refugee community organizations often involve assistance in preparing reports and other written materials in English, administrative/institutional development, English language teaching (children and adults), and computer skills courses.
Due to the fact that details of volunteer opportunities often change, interested persons should contact BADIL for available positions. Specific volunteer positions will be posted to the BADIL website as they become available. Persons are also requested to attach a resume/CV, specific areas of interest, and length of volunteer time.
